Parenting and the postpartum period is often a rediscovery of ourselves. As birthing parents, we’re often trying to navigate the emotions that come with the changes that happen to our bodies, the changes in our relationships with our partners, our friendships, or with our other children. We can also have previous traumatic experiences impact us in ways we weren’t prepared for.
